Hi! I’m Jenna

Integrated Healing Arts Practitioner

I'm the founder of Sacred Pause Healing, a mother of two grown sons, a lifelong student of the human experience, and someone who believes that healing and personal growth are never really finished.

My own life has been filled with the same beautiful, messy, unexpected experiences that come with being human. I've navigated change, uncertainty, anxiety, and the many ways life invites us to begin again. And while I've spent years studying the connection between the mind, body, energy, and nervous system, I'm still learning how to meet myself with the same compassion I offer others.

I don't believe we need to have everything figured out to experience peace, presence, or a deeper connection with ourselves.

Over the years, my work has evolved beyond any one healing modality. As an Integrated Healing Arts Practitioner, I draw from my experience in Reiki, Spinal Flow, sound and vibrational therapies, energy medicine, and somatic practices. Each session is guided by the individual, their body, and what feels supportive in the moment.

Sacred Pause was created from a simple belief: we all deserve a place where we can step away from the noise of the world, put down what we've been carrying, and simply be.

I don't see my role as fixing anyone or carrying their journey. I offer a compassionate, grounded space where you can slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the wisdom that already exists within you.

And perhaps that's what I love most about this work. No matter how much we learn or how far we've come, there's always another opportunity to pause, notice, and return to ourselves.

With love and gratitude,

Jenna

If you’re unsure which offering is the bet fit, you’re welcome to email me and we’ll find a time to connect.

“Healing isn't always about doing more or searching for answers. Sometimes it's about creating enough space to pause, listen inward, and reconnect with the wisdom that already exists within us.”

A Little About My Training

My work has been shaped by years of study, experience, and an ongoing curiosity about the connection between the body, mind, energy, and spirit.

My foundation began at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, where I studied Integrated Healing Arts, and continued through Reiki Master Teacher training, sound and vibrational healing, energy medicine, and direct training with Dr. Carli Axford, founder of the Spinal Flow Technique.

While these experiences have given me a beautiful collection of tools, I've come to understand that no single modality or certification defines the work I do today.

I continue to learn, evolve, and trust the wisdom that comes from years of working with people, listening deeply, and being fully present.

The Hummingbird that Changed Everything

I never set out to become a Reiki Master Teacher. In fact, I wasn't entirely sure where life was taking me.

I remember receiving a brochure from Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. I threw it away. Another arrived. I threw that one away, too. And wouldn't you know it, another appeared.

Apparently, Spirit wasn't taking no for an answer.

Eventually, I listened to that persistent little nudge and enrolled, not knowing where it would lead.

One evening after class, I was sitting quietly in meditation when I heard a loud bang against my window. Outside, I found a hummingbird lying on the ground.

Afraid my dogs might get to it, I gently brought it inside and placed it in a shoebox.

Not knowing what else to do, I began offering Reiki to this tiny creature.

Over the next four hours, I sat with the hummingbird, returning to Reiki several times. Eventually, it sat upright, and when it seemed ready, I was able to release it back into the wild.

In that moment, something shifted within me. I wasn't simply learning about Reiki anymore. I was beginning to trust what I was experiencing.

Whether it was Reiki, time, the bird's natural ability to recover, or some combination of things, that experience touched something deep within me. To me, it felt like another nudge from Spirit, reassuring me that I was exactly where I needed to be.

I eventually graduated from Southwest Institute of Healing Arts as an Integrated Healing Arts Practitioner, continued my Reiki training, and began working with clients in Scottsdale.

What started as an unexpected direction became a practice I couldn't imagine my life without.

The hummingbird stayed with me, too.

Years later, an artist intuitively created a tattoo inspired by that experience. I carry it on my arm as a reminder of that little bird, the beginning of my journey, and the importance of trusting what we feel called toward.

And all these years later, I'm still listening.

“If you are waiting for a sign or a Universal nudge, this is it. Everyone needs a little magic in their lives and if you don’t believe in magic, you will! “
